i was able to attend the pvd lady project + j.crew: tis the season to sparkle event on sunday night. it was definitely a great event, mainly because we got to shop after hours and i satiated my j.crew needs for the time being (yes, i have a problem in the form of clothes).
i love how every speaker we have at the events always has such an inspirational message. we had three amazing speakers: rosie sinal ortiz of styleweek northeast, vicki, the personal stylist at the providence j.crew, and corey grayhorse, a fashion photographer. all of their messages were very similar: have fun, work it, and dress for yourself. all of those sentiments can be applied across the board, regardless of your profession. as long as you’re confident and having fun, it will show.
so, in the spirit of being confident and having fun, i bought myself a new blazer and know that i want to adorn it with some ban.do accessories. fun sidenote: i was accepted as one of ban.do’s brand ambassadors! i’m totally psyched!! the big question is, which accessory is best: the pop flower or the flurry pouf?
