jewelry love – gwen delicious

foxtrot press - gwen delicious jewelry

i’m not quite sure how weekends fly by quite so quickly but it appears as though we have come upon another monday. i went out and celebrated my birthday with my parents, sister and brother-in-law, and boyfriend on saturday. my sister had gotten me an awesome necklace from gwen delicious jewelry and i wanted to share this unique line of jewelry with you all.

i love the antique feel and finish of all of the products that gwen delicious jewelry carries. my favorites are definitely the letterpress necklaces and the wax seal stamp necklaces. as a stationer and designer, i want to actually use these necklaces for projects (i now have the letterpress e and lion wax stamp necklace!). i’m also loving the mini scissors necklace… and there are a few skeleton key necklaces which are pretty awesome as well.

i think i’m going to start my 10 things i’ve learned as a designer series this week… or do we think it  makes sense to wait until the new year to start that one? i’m curious to know how frequently people tend to visit their blog reads during a crazy time of year. i know it has become increasingly difficult to stay on top of things myself, so i’m not sure if it makes sense to wait until we’ve all calmed down a bit to introduce something new.

on a bit of a somber note, i still cannot fathom the events of friday, in newtown, conneticut. my thoughts and prayers are with the families and community. may love, light and peace be brought to those in need of comfort.

These are so lovely! I think my favorite has to be that simple ‘e’. How it looks like it’s ready to run through a press is so cute!

I have been struggling to keep up too. Among trying to relax, finish up some work, and work on the blog as well it’s so hard to keep up with others! So I think it might be a good idea to wait until after the new year!
