so i’ve realized that i talk about providence quite a bit but have never had a really focused discussion about it. there’s so much awesomeness here (and i’m not just saying that because i live here). the amount of amazing opportunity and creativity is mind boggling… every new idea i hear makes me so much more excited to live here and be a part of this community.
last night was really energizing for me. sierra and i met with one of our clients for brand it and his idea for a business was so unbelievably refreshing and unique. besides that, i could totally see something like it coming to life in providence. it really feels like ANYTHING is possible here… and the general populace is really open to these new endeavors.
after our meeting, i headed over to a meeting at the printshop. we talked about some upcoming events and opportunities and it made me so glad to be getting more involved with things. it has been so amazing to be around super passionate people lately… and it’s really making me understand just how important community is to me.
i want to share this community with everyone else, especially my blog community. what do you think? would you be interested in learning more about all of the creative endeavors, rad places and inspiring entrepreneurs that make providence so wonderful to me? i’d especially love to share more about the printshop (it’s slowly becoming my second home) and the people and dreams that drive this city. i love that i have an endless source of inspiration here… does anyone else feel the same about where they live?

YES YES YES to it all! I love learning about new places – I blog about Syracuse a lot! It helps to promote your local community while also tying readers into where you live, exist, be. I love it.
That’s so awesome! I really haven’t spent much time in Providence, so now I really want to make the effort to get down there more often. Only recently have I begun getting back into the community here, and most of that has been through the artist community up in Lowell. I’d love to hear more about your life in Providence and all the awesome things there are to do there. Bring it on!
yes! i’d love to hear about providence. an old professor lives there and i’d love to go visit him- maybe your posts about other awesome things to do/see in providence will get me off my butt and finally go!
Providence is the best! I’m back again …my 3rd time living here over the years.
I teach ceramics at the Steel Yard and sewing at my own place of business: West Side Sewing Studio. Especially if you are an artist, it’s a wonderful place to be.
